Hebrews 2:8-9---Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
Your life
may not seem like it now, but Jesus is such a faithful friend He holds all your
godly hopes and dreams in His heart. He
wants all your hopes and dreams to come true within His will and His love. Even
when your hopes and dreams are not godly, Jesus stands by you and will never
back away. In every circumstance, He wants to become connected with you. In
every pain, in every hurt, in every adversity separating you from Him, Christ
stands next to you and reaches out His hand to you. Christ emptied Himself on
the Cross for you. Now He seeks an eternal connection to your heart and life. In
your relationship with Him, Jesus does not have any selfish interest. Jesus
wants only what is very best for you. Christ has committed to you He will never
break. Christ gave His life for you. Christ will stay close to you all of your
days. Christ is your faithful friend. Will you be a faithful friend to Him?
