A Resurrected Body

1st Thessalonians 4:13-18---But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

We are so robed in the flesh that we see through the eyes of flesh. God’s greatest desire is for us to see with spiritual eyes. Not long ago, I concluded that no matter how close to God we may get, there are always questions about specific topics. One such question since we see so much cremation now after one dies now is whether it is a sin to be cremated after death? I have never found any Scripture to teach that it is. I realize that some will say because Jesus was buried in a tomb that we should be buried too. But then the question comes, What about those who burned to death in the towers or those buried at sea? Listen, God has never lost one of His sheep; He knows where every one of them is. Notice the Scripture says Comfort One Another with These Words, but our flesh causes us to question. I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep. Those who have also died who sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: A Resurrected Body.
