Christ has blessings to give you.
However, we seldom stop to think about what it takes for us to be open enough
and trusting enough to receive the wonderful blessings God has for us. Our dark
adversary certainly wants us to be greedy and want all the attractions the
world has to offer. In addition, our dark adversary wants us to be closed off
from all the blessings God has for us. To fully receive the true blessings of
God requires we be humble and contrite. When we are humble and contrite, our
heart and life opens up to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When we are
arrogant and full of pride, we may want the blessings of God but we are be too
closed off in our heart to find those blessings. To be truly receptive to all
God has for you requires a simple faith and trust in God. Your simple faith and
trust in God can give you a vision to see His love. Your simple faith can
empower you to see His will openly displayed in your life and in the life of
those around you.
