A Deep Faith

1^st Peter 1:7---That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

A deep faith results in our having a guiding light in our life.

This guiding Light, the Holy Spirit, produces wisdom.

Many of the decisions we make every day, even the decisions of seeming insignificance, require wisdom.

Wisdom is not something with which we are born.

Wisdom is acquired.

Deep faith produces within us a hunger to know about God and about how to live our life according to His guiding Hand.

Deep faith produces within us a starting point for acquiring wisdom.

Persons of faith should always want to do the right thing.

We should always want to do what God wants from us.

As we hunger and thirst to do the right and the smart thing, we acquire wisdom.
